I have one year experience in a brokerage firm and a 2nd degree in graphic design?
I have one year experience in an enterprise do brokerage transactions (glorified data entry) and maintenance and a 2nd degree in graphic design. My plan is to leave my job for something more in a few months. What else is there for me?
The T-Shirt Screen Printing field is an option for any graphic designer, and not necessarily have some degree at all. Mastering Corel Draw and Photoshop to a lesser extent, are important. Also an understanding of how the screen printing process is very useful, like making a design look good when printed on shirts and other clothing is not always the same as making it look good on a computer monitor. There are companies screen print everywhere, from small shops 1 or 2 people to department stores with very few artists impression. I'm not sure if this is appealing to you or not, but how many people are in the field of graphic design and how it can be competitive, and the number of independent stores Serigraph, I think that graphic designers in general would do well to explore this area.
