CALLING ALL GRAPHIC DESIGNERS: hourly or flat?
This question is for all graphic designers are independent. Do you charge per hour, or a flat fee for a project? What is acceptable for a junior designer in charge of 10-pages, designed to measure, the php web site? Tell me what you think!
I've gotten to where I just charge a flat fee for the designs. I like working on different projects at once, so it is difficult to to track me. To reach my prices I estimate the time it is Take Me (on average) and multiplies it by a reasonable hourly rate to get to my normal flat rate .. an hourly rate for a good entry-level designer would be anywhere from $ 10 to $ 25 dollars an hour.
