HELP! Web design company getting crushed by larger companies!?
I have a small business web design, graphic design, photography and translations .... I'm losing a lot of big business customers with more buying power ... WHAT CAN I DO TO reel again? I always offer to beat any text of similar quality by 10%, still does not seem to reel back in .. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers. B
Hi B, I agree with J above. I myself own a web design company and competition in the web design business can be aggressive, and so you need to show what it can offer for the price of 10% less. As J said, the cost is not always unique. These days companies want to know: 1) How do I get for my money? 2) How will people find this site once you? If anybody finds (especially with other competition in the same business as their customers) is not an investment for them. 3) What makes your company * * different from others? A good example: many large companies treat their customers just as numbers. Do you counter this trend by offering personal customer service? Can clients count on you to return phone calls or email? Will to achieve a level of customer service that small businesses can provide, but the big companies that have grown beyond his pants can not? Differences competition can help to show how much their customers are receiving the same price as its rivals. 4) What is your niche? Do you focus on the specific market areas (eg, realtors, lawyers, travel agents, etc)? The establishment of a market niche will help you build one after the which can be expanded gradually if desired and possibly make a bigger player in the field of web design. good to those questions.
