What are the main issues relating to the designers today?
In the context of graphic design and visual arts, etc would be great to hear your opinion and any links to where they may have gotten the information, Salud!
I think a fundamental question designers on the software design. With digital art programs of many (Adobe. ... and so on) everyone and their neighbor thinks it can be a graphic designer. Now, of course real desingers know that software is only useful in skilled hands and trained, but the problem is: this is not the way they are marketing. I can not count the number of people I talk to say, I bought Corel Paint but I can not do things in their sample on the website. All our programs field are beginning to be marketed this way. It is misleading. Now, why do I care if some fans waste their money? It is because the belief that anyone with the right software can be a designer. So instead of hiring qualified artists, some companies are having "Patty of Accounting" make your promotional material and letterheads, and their 14 years of age, has a pirated copy of Photoshop at home. And it's not their fault. Many do not know any better. But there it is. The emerging belief that intelligence is irrelevant in the design with the right software is hurting the reputation and security of our profession.
